CRYSTAL QUARTZ FIXED ROTATORS

Crystal quartz is optically active i.e. it rotates the plane of polarization of an input beam of light traveling parallel to it's optic axis. The rotation angle at a particular wavelength is a function of thickness of crystal quartz. These devices rotate the plane of polarization of incident linearly polarized single wavelength of light by 45 or 90 degrees. Other rotations are available on special order. Also available as standard parts are differential rotators which rotate the planes of polarization of two superimposed beams of different wavelengths in such a way that the rotation difference between the two is 45 or 90 degrees. Pairs of standard available wavelengths are 694/347 nm and 1064/532 nm. In other words, one can get standard differential rotators of 45 or 90 degrees rotation difference between 694/347 nm and 1064/532 nm. Other rotations for other wavelengths are available on special order. Standard available clear aperture diameters are 10 and 22 mm. Other sizes are available on special order.
